Gildas’ Club offers general bereavement groups to anyone whose loved one died of a cancer-related

illness. The groups are held Monday-Thursday from 6:00-8:00. They are open general population groups and are facilitated by a Certified Social Worker. Currently there are two monthly groups for specific populations: daughters without mothers, and losing a spouse. Anyone interested should call and find out when the next orientation meeting for new members is being held. The meeting must be attended before joining a support group. Gilda’s Club will be opening an additional site in Park Slope
